 CME & V1STA

* Most third-party payors cover NPWT for an initial period of 30-days (i.e. 10 kits, 4 canisters, 1 NPWT). If an extension of treatment is necessary, additional documentation will be required from the caregiver (i.e. 30-days of wound treatment sheets, wound dimensions, etc).

* Please keep in mind that a “pre-authorization” for a home placement can be a lengthy process. We have experienced a waiting time of up to 2 weeks. As a result of the tight restrictions put in place by third-party payors, home placements can involve a much lengthier process than “inpatient” orders.
